WHAT'S NEW?

***Big news for writers! The first ever session of my new online workshop "BREAKING INTO PRINT: The Art of Writing an Irresistible Query" is now open for registration. Participants in this inaugural course will receive a substantial discount. Read more about the workshop here.

*** A DANGEROUS FICTION, originally published by Viking Books, is now out with Penguin Press, which means it’s simultaneously available in hardcover, paperback, ebook and audiobook: You pays your money and you takes your choice. The reviews have been wonderful, including this one from NPR station WSHU.  The New York Post called A DANGEROUS FICTION “required reading;” Booklist compared it favorably to P.D. James; and CT News named it “one of the best mysteries of 2013.” Start reading here for free!

***  Barbara loves meeting with readers and has a special offer for bookclubbers. If your club chooses A Dangerous Fiction, she will do her best to arrange a visit by phone or Skype to join in the discussion.

*** Five of  Barbara’s earlier novels have been reissued and are readily available  Café Nevo and Saving Grace were published in ebook and paperback editions by Open Media.  Hindsight, Rowing In Eden, and Suspicion were reissued by Simon & Schuster.

*** For writers, published and aspiritng: Barbara's online school of writing, Next Level Workshop, now includes three different on-line workshops, all taught by Barbara personally. She has been an editor and literary agent as well as a writer, and brings all aspects of her career to bear in teaching. These are intensive workshops for writers seriously interested in learning the craft.  The next offered will be  Revising Fiction, Class size for all workshops is strictly limited and the classes fill up quickly. Writers interested in applying or getting more information should contact Barbara.

*** Barbara is now a denizen of Twitter, where she is known as @RoganBarbara. If you spot her wandering around lost, it would be a kindness to escort her home.
